I really feel the need for all women to feel like they are beautiful and able, no matter how they look. We are definitely not aware of how much power we are losing by not realising that each of us is unique, and not building our world around that fact.
Ever since I was a child, the only trend I wasn't allowed to miss out on was dressing myself with kindness and loyalty to who I am.
I have always been through ups and downs when it comes to self-love, body image and confidence, trying to keep up with not only the Kardashians but the trends in magazines, on celebrities, social media, and high street fashion. It wasn’t until I realised that I was punishing my body and almost forcing it into something someone else was dictating every season that I really started feeling confident in my own skin and enjoying fashion more.
You have to work with what you have, whether you like it or not, and if you don’t like it, I would say that your way to happiness is realising you have no reason to dislike it.
I know how I like my fashion and I know my body and true self and that allows me to be and dress in a unique way.
